This place is great! The owner is very friendly and helpful. This place is worth the visit.
This place has tons of historical and paranormal based relics and artifacts. The World of Wars exhibit is top notch containing battlefield relics and German Prayer Cards and the WV Penitentiary exhibit has the Execution Cap to Old Sparky and some knarly looking shanks! Haunted items include dolls, toys, relics, embalming tables, caskets, wheelchairs, etc! Definitely worth a stop and definitely deserves a higher rating than 4.4!
The spookiest part is finding this place. It's inside a community center with just a paper sign. Requires a lot of reading but you can ask the founder any questions and he'll tell you all about it.
Interesting museum hidden away inside a school. The neat thing is I believe this museum is haunted. The owner is more than happy to guide you around and answer any questions.
This museum is one of the most unique and informative museum's that we have ever visited and investigated for paranormal evidence based off of the many reports of paranormal activity. The exhibits include many haunted artifacts and historically important relics ranging from war torn helmets to the execution cap that was used in correlation with the former West Virginia State Penitentiary's electric chair, Old Sparky. If your looking for an amazingly affordable stop in Moundsville we recommend you stop there!
